Rochdale WARRIORS Karate club

We teach Shukokai Karate & our club has been established in Rochdale since 2008. The Chief instructor is Sensei Damien McLaughlin 8th Dan who follows the teachings of the late Sensei Shigeru Kimura. We teach traditional Karate & Competitive Sport Karate (Kata & Kumite). Visit our website or contact Sensei Damien for more information. 

Sensei Damien McLaughlin 8th Dan: I started Shukokai Karate in 1972 at the YMCA in Manchester under the instruction of Sensei Steve Powell & until 2020 I was a senior member/instructor/executive of the Shukokai Karate Union (SKU) before the association's demise due to the Pandemic. 

Training times: Sat 12 - 1.30pm & Tues 8 - 9.30pm
